The Broker Black vs Auto Bandits.

Auto Bandits and The Broker Black both want to spare you an afternoon of haggling over a new car, and they come at it from opposite ends. Auto Bandits (autobandits.com) is a new-car buying concierge and negotiation service: once you have chosen your vehicle, its team contacts dealerships, collects competing offers, and negotiates for you in all 50 states and Washington, D.C., and its standard fee is a share of the savings it documents: 25% of net savings below MSRP on a purchase or lease (autobandits.com, as of September 2026). The Broker Black does not negotiate. Its pricing opens soon; when it does, participating dealerships publish their savings and price up front and every car is priced three ways (finance, lease, and cash), and the dealership sells or leases the car and completes the purchase directly with you. Both take the haggling off your plate; they differ in who does the work and when you see the numbers.

Quick answers.

Is The Broker Black cheaper than Auto Bandits?

They are different services. On The Broker Black, creating an account to see pricing is complimentary, and a membership covers you and your household at the same address for every purchase during its term and includes an introduction to the participating dealership you choose, so you can complete your purchase directly with them. Pricing for White Level and Black Level, and the full list of what each level includes, are coming soon. Auto Bandits charges a share of the savings it documents: 25% of net savings below MSRP on a standard purchase or lease, with a $250 commitment deposit credited toward it, or a $1,500 flat fee for hard-to-find and high-demand vehicles (autobandits.com/pricing, as of September 2026). Auto Bandits negotiates for you; The Broker Black does not negotiate.

What if Auto Bandits cannot find savings?

Per its pricing page and terms, the $250 commitment deposit is refunded in whole or in part if it cannot present a qualifying offer at least $1,000 below MSRP, or, when you bring your own written offer, cannot improve it by at least $715, and the $1,500 flat fee for hard-to-find vehicles becomes non-refundable once dealer outreach begins (autobandits.com, as of September 2026).

Is Auto Bandits a broker?

It describes itself as a nationwide new-car buying concierge and negotiation service. Its FAQ and its Arizona and Las Vegas pages also refer to its auto brokers, and its FAQ says it represents only its clients and accepts no compensation from dealerships or any other third party (autobandits.com, as of September 2026). The Broker Black is not a licensed motor vehicle dealer or broker and does not act as a broker in any way; the participating dealership sells or leases the car and signs the contract with you.

Can I use both?

Yes. Once pricing opens, the price on The Broker Black is the dealership's published price. A negotiation service may or may not do better on a given car, and you are welcome to compare.
