The Broker Black way

How buying a car with Broker Black
works.

Eight steps. Every number on the table before you go anywhere. Scroll to walk through it.

Step 01 of 8

Find itEvery new car, one search

Every new car on the market in Arizona and Nevada, in one search, priced as your number.

Start with a model, a body style, or just the monthly payment you are comfortable with. Broker Black pulls live inventory across both states and shows each car in full: year, trim, color, equipment, and a selling price with the discount off MSRP already built in. Under it, the sales tax for where you live, title and registration, and the doc fee, added up to one out-the-door number. Save the ones you like to My Garage and keep going.

Step 02 of 8

Set your numberThirty seconds, no credit pull

Your deal profile turns every price on the site into your payment.

Tell us where you live, your credit range, what you are putting down, whether you have a trade, and the term you want. No credit pull, no social security number. The profile lives in your browser and prices every car for your range. Change one field and every number on the site updates with it. If you would rather start from a payment, set the range you are comfortable with and browse only the cars that land inside it.

Step 03 of 8

Cash, finance, or leaseThe same car, three real numbers

Monthly, one-pay, or with security deposits: the lease math most stores never mention is on the page.

Finance shows the monthly payment at your term with the amount financed and the out-the-door total. Lease shows the monthly payment and what is due at signing, or a single one-pay figure, with the option to place multiple security deposits that lower the payment and come back to you at lease end. Cash shows the out-the-door number with nothing folded into the fees. If you usually pay cash and keep cars two or three years, ask the Concierge: it runs the depreciation you would absorb against a one-pay lease and shows the difference in dollars.

What the Concierge compares
1Cash out the door, and what the car is likely worth when you sell it
2A one-pay lease, with the money you did not spend still working for you
3Security deposits that buy the payment down and are refunded at the end
Payments only, on every car. Pick the one that fits how long you keep a car.

Step 04 of 8

Value your tradeA real range in a minute

Your trade is worth what the market says today, not what a book said last quarter.

Enter the VIN and the miles and Broker Black pulls what the same year, trim, and mileage are selling for right now, then hands you a range. Put it into your deal profile and the equity, or the balance you still owe, flows into every payment on the site. Negative equity is priced in, never hidden. When the deal is locked, the Broker has the trade confirmed against that range, so the number you were quoted is the number at delivery.

Step 05 of 8

Lock the numberIn writing, before you sign

You build the deal. Your Broker locks it in writing with the dealer holding the car.

When the number looks right, send it. Your Broker takes the deal you built, confirms the car is still on the ground, and locks the selling price, the fees, and the payment in writing with the dealer holding the car. It arrives as a finished deal. No desk, no manager, no second round of numbers.

How the lock happens
1You send the deal you built
2The Broker confirms the car is on the ground
3Price, fees, and payment are locked in writing
4The locked deal comes back to you to sign

Test driveArranged around you

Your driveway, your office, or a neutral spot you choose. Not a loop around a dealership lot.

Want to drive it before you sign? The Broker arranges the test drive around you. The car comes to your home or office, or you meet somewhere neutral, on your calendar, evenings and weekends included. Nobody walks you back inside to sit down afterward. Drive it, decide, and tell the Broker. The locked number does not move either way.

DeliverySigned at your kitchen table

Signed and delivered to your driveway, anywhere in Arizona or Nevada.

The documents arrive ahead of the car, so you can read every line before anyone is waiting on you. On delivery day the car shows up detailed and fueled or charged, the paperwork is printed to the locked number, and you sign at home. The Broker walks you through the car, pairs your phone, and leaves. If a single figure differs from what was locked, you do not sign.

Own itMy Garage

The relationship starts at delivery, and the next deal starts whenever the math says so.

After delivery your car lives in My Garage with the deal you signed. Ask for a valuation whenever you like and see what it is worth today against what you owe, or what is left on the lease. When a newer car's payment lands close to your current one, or the equity covers the move, Broker Black tells you first. That is when an upgrade costs less than staying put, and the story starts again at step one.

Start on any car.

Every vehicle on this site already shows its out-the-door number and a real payment three ways. Pick one, and the rest follows in the order you just read.
