Brand guide

Tesla lineup.

Tesla remains the easiest way to go electric in Arizona and Nevada: the Supercharger network blankets I-10, I-15, and US-93, the cars handle desert heat with strong thermal management, and over-the-air updates add features for years. The current new lineup is Model 3, Model Y, and Cybertruck; the Model S and Model X ended production in 2026, so those are now inventory and used-market finds.

Every new Tesla carries a 4 year / 50,000 mile basic warranty plus battery and drive unit coverage of 8 years / 100,000 to 150,000 miles depending on model. There is no included maintenance program, but EVs need very little scheduled service.

Questions.

How is Tesla charging in Arizona and Nevada?

Excellent. The Supercharger network is dense across Phoenix, Tucson, Las Vegas, and the corridors between them, including I-10, I-15, and US-93. Most owners charge at home overnight and use Superchargers only on road trips.

Does desert heat hurt an EV battery?

Heat is harder on batteries than cold, but Tesla's liquid thermal management is built for it, and Arizona is one of Tesla's biggest markets. Parking in shade or a garage and avoiding daily charging to 100 percent keeps degradation modest for most owners.

Do Teslas still qualify for the federal EV tax credit?

EV incentives have changed repeatedly and the broad federal new-EV credit lapsed for most buyers in late 2025. Rules can change again and state or utility incentives may still apply, so check current programs before you buy rather than counting on a credit.

Can I still buy a new Model S or Model X?

Tesla ended Model S and Model X production in 2026 and closed custom orders, so what remains is dealer-style existing inventory and the used market. If you want one new, remaining inventory is the last call.

What does Tesla maintenance cost?

Very little by gas-car standards: no oil changes, no transmission service, and brakes that last ages thanks to regen. Budget for tires (EVs wear them faster), cabin air filters, and wiper blades. There is no free maintenance program, but there is also not much maintenance.
